EPTA Procedures

    

EPTA has created a number of procedures:

   

Procedure 1 - Stated Values for Mass in Sales Literature and Instruction Manual

Procedure 2 - Technical data of rechargeable batteries

Procedure 3 - Vibration: Performance and productivity of hand-held electric tools

Procedure 4 - Product data for Hire Association Europe Website

Procedure 5 - Measurement of the single impact energy of rotary hammers and breakers

Procedure 6 - Markings and instructions for power tool accessories

    

The concept of EPTA proccedures:

   

EPTA procedures are created in a transparent process. All members are invited to participate in the process of creation of a procedure. The process is coordinated by a project group. The project group regularly reports to the EPTA Steering Committee. Procedures will be finally approved by the EPTA Steering Committee and the EPTA Board. 

   

The access to EPTA procedures is limited to EPTA members. Exemption: EPTA Procedure “Stated Values for Weight in Catalogues and Operating Instructions" (see below).

General purpose and scope are to have a common basis for the determination of the weight of power tools for declarations in catalogues and operating instructions.
