Eco Design

EPTA is an active stakeholder in the EU Commission's Eco Design programme and supports it's aims.

Power tools use minimal energy and any potential improvement is outweighed by the costs of achieving it and the additional use of critical raw materials.

It is becoming increasingly important to realise the economic benefits from being more resource efficient. Therefore EPTA members ensure that product design is focussed on energy efficiency and the use of sustainable raw materials.
